William Murdoch Primary School were the winners of Promote Your School’s Inspiring Libraries competition in 2025! The prize included bespoke Wall Art, books and furniture for their school library. And, here, we’re delighted to share the end result.

There are some books that every child simply must read. Whether those are set books on the curriculum or classic stories, certain books can change a child’s entire perspective. This shows the immense power of reading and the lifechanging effect it can have.

This literacy fence creates a sense of magic in the outdoor area at Chapel Hill Primary School. We used a rich colour palette and vibrant images to bring the design to life.

We featured curious creatures and scenes in this unique design that will ignite pupils’ imaginations. For younger pupils, this intriguing design will develop vocabulary as pupils discuss what they can see. And pupils of all ages will be inspired to find out more by reading books that reflect these magical worlds.
