We designed Wall Art for Safa British School.
The library at Safa British School is one of the most engaging and inviting libraries we’ve seen! It offers loads of books for students to choose, soft seating and a vibrant colour palette. In short, it’s a warm and welcoming place where books are the star of the show.
We created a bespoke Wall Art design for the walls of the library. The design features book spines to create a visual book display. This brings interest to the walls and is sure to spark curiosity in pupils of all ages.
Safa British School
Safa British School offers an innovatively designed campus, packed with world class facilities. One such facility is the school library. It’s a wonderfully inviting area where pupils are encouraged to spend time exploring the wide range of books on offer.
We were delighted to design a visual book display for the library walls. The design features books from the curriculum against an inspiring visual backdrop. There are a few interesting creatures and features from stories included in the design. From animals to landmarks, there’s loads here to spark curiosity and pique pupils’ interest.
Library Wall Art
Children who read for pleasure are proven to be happier and healthier. And they achieve better learning outcomes at school. So the school library is an important part of the building – a place where students can escape the everyday and get lost in the pages of a story.
We worked with the team at Safa British School to understand their goal and vision. Then, we created bespoke designs that would perfectly fit the intended space in the library. The design sits behind the book shelves, so it looks really natural and doesn’t distract pupils from their reading.
We used a bright colour palette and large fonts, which are visible from anywhere in the library.
Our process
As standard, we visited the school free of charge for their initial consultation. This visit allowed us to understand the school’s wants and needs for the project. And it enabled us to walk around the library and get a feel for the space.
We fed back the brief and requirements to our in-house design team. They were then able to translate the requirements into design concepts. We worked around existing fixtures in the library, like the book shelves and windows. This is the value of bespoke design!
Finally, we printed and installed the final artwork on the walls, ready for a big reveal to students.
