Chapel Hill Primary School Enchanted Storybook Corridor
We designed an enchanted Storybook Corridor for Chapel Hill Primary School.
The Storybook Corridor features creatures and objects from classic stories and fairy tales. It’s designed to inspire a love of reading in young pupils and has transformed the walls of this corridor.
Chapel Hill Primary School is a brand new building, opened recently. So this design adds charm and character to the new build. There’s not a dull, white wall in sight!
Storybook Corridor
Castles, enchanted woods and mythical creatures bring this Enchanted Storybook Corridor to life. Relevant quotes about reading introduce pupils to the magical worlds they can discover in a story.
The biggest impact of this design comes from its size. Pupils can walk alongside the Wall Art and discover hidden creatures at their own pace. It sparks curiosity and is sure to build vocabulary in young pupils as they discuss what they discover.
Reading is magic
We loved creating this enchanting Wall Art design for the school. They were keen to capture the awe and wonder that lies in children’s stories.
We set the design on a woodland inspired background. So the whole effect feels magical and enchanting. Spending time in nature is also beneficial for mental health. So pupils will feel calm and inspired as they walk along this Storybook Corridor each day.
Bespoke design
We designed this Wall Art project bespoke to the school’s requirements. To begin, we visited the school to discuss their goals and review the wall space they had in mind.
As a new build, the school was bursting with blank wall space. So this provided the perfect canvas for our bespoke Wall Art designs. We guided the school through our design process, before printing and installing the final artwork.
Designed to last
We printed this design on premium, industrial grade vinyl. So it will last many years and requires zero upkeep or maintenance.
It was also key to create a timeless design that wouldn’t age or go out of fashion. Luckily we could focus on classic fairy tales that will continue to stand the test of time!
