We designed Wall Art for Downlands Community School.
Downlands Community School offers a broad and balanced curriculum, where literacy is key. The school were keen to encourage a natural love of reading, and support pupils with recall of their curriculum setbooks.
So, they invested in library Wall Art to bring books to life on their walls. We featured classic titles that all pupils must read, alongside images of the authors who created them. The birth and death dates of each author give context to the era they represented, including modern day authors who continue to shape the literary world.
Pupils will be drawn to the visual design and keen to find out more about these authors and their famous works. In this way, the Wall Art sparks curiosity and fuels literacy in pupils of all ages.
