We designed an author timeline for Conisborough College.
Conisborough College is a purpose built campus, which opened in 2009. Students benefit from state of the art technologies and resources. The senior leadership team strives to ensure that the learning environment is progressive, empowering and engaging.
Literacy is a big focus for the college. And teachers recognise that students who read for pleasure achieve better learning outcomes. So the college approached Promote Your School to create Wall Art that focused on reading.
With this in mind, we designed a timeline to celebrate famous authors from the 1400s to the present day.
Conisborough College
Students at Conisborough College can wander alongside some of the greatest authors from throughout history. There’s a photo of each author, with their date of birth and a quote.
An open book in the centre of the design brings the design to life, as magic spills out of the pages. The timeline acts as a visual learning aid to help students remember key information about each author. It’s also sure to spark curiosity and encourage them to seek out more of each author’s work. The design is also linked to the college’s curriculum, so featured authors are key to each student’s development.
