Science

Science is incredible and touches almost every aspect of modern life. From the foods we eat, the animals we meet, seasons, space travel, weather and our mobile phones – Science is everywhere. So, how do you communicate this powerful message to your students? Don’t just tell them…show them instead!

Stunning visual displays can convey powerful messages about Science in a way that words simply cannot. For example; a large feature wall showing the periodic table against a space themed backdrop will pique pupils’ interest. So they’re more likely to engage and want to learn more about it. Photos of famous Scientists are an excellent scientific lab design idea and bring faces to names. While Timelines show pupils just how far we’ve come since the earliest Scientific disoveries. Science Wall Art can transform any area of your school. It’s a surefire way to engage pupils and inspire a genuine interest in this important subject.

A future careers wall is another option to celebrate the subject. It can show students a range of professions they could enter with a degree in this field of study. Or, you can display natural habitats and biomes on your walls to bring the benefits of the outdoors into your learning environment. There really is no limit when it comes to how you can celebrate this subject visually.

We create all Wall Art designs bespoke. So we can tailor your Science Wall Art directly to your school’s curriculum. You might wish to target a particular year group with your science lab design. In this case we’ll ensure the designs reflect the curriculum of that year. Or, if you’re keen for your Wall Art to appeal to all pupils, we’ll use a more generalised design. We can combine elements of the curriculum, from formative Science studies to more advanced content.

A curriculum based design has multiple benefits. First and foremost, it sparks curiosity in the study of Science. Pupils will engage with the designs independently, and arrive for classes in the right mindset for learning. Visual displays help with knowledge retention too. Pupils will see the designs every day and begin to absorb the information, without even realising they’re learning. These displays also make information accessible to all types of learners, especially visual learners and those with SEN. We can brand your designs with your school’s colours, logo, motto and values for a professional and cohesive look. So you can show your commitment to learning to prospective families, Ofsted inspectors and external visitors too.
