We designed some School Cloakroom Wall Art for New Invention Junior School. This dynamic school is located near the market town of Walsall in the West Midlands.
The school is also steeped in History – even its school name has interesting origins!
School Cloakroom Wall Art
Who says a school cloakroom need only be functional? The school decided to take a novel approach for their School Cloakroom Wall Art. In fact, they requested an immersive Egyptian theme to take pupils on a journey back through time.
The primary aim of this Egyptian themed school Wall Art was to encourage natural curiosity. And, as a quote on the wall suggests, pupils are encouraged to “replace fear of the unknown with curiosity”. What a wonderful lesson for students as they hang up their coats in the morning.
Back in time
The walls of the school’s cloakrooms have been adorned with hieroglyphs, sphinx cats, Egyptian Gods and sculptures of Tutankhamun. This creates a realistic effect of stepping back in time and provides an excellent conversation starter for pupils. It also serves as a learning aid, as pupils will no doubt want to learn more about this incredible civilisation.
To complement the Egyptian themed School Cloakroom Wall Art, we painted the walls and skirting boards in a subtle mustard shade. So this completes the look of the room for full effect.
Out with dull, white walls
As is the case with all school Wall Art we design, this stunning Egyptian theme shows that uninteresting white walls of your school can become a thing of the past! We thoroughly enjoyed creating this beautiful Egyptian masterpiece. It was also a pleasure to work with the great folks at New Invention Junior School.
