Safa British School Values Wall Art
Safa British School in Dubai puts wellbeing at the heart of all they do.
Headteacher at Safa British School Dubai, Brian Horwell, believes that happy students are successful students. And, the school’s values provide a solid foundation to build happiness, aspiration and success.

We designed Wall Art to bring the school’s values to life. Each value links to a short description encased within a striking round icon. These graphics then explain each value in more detail, with a mix of text and iconography. And all this sits on a calm background that serves to uplift students and inspire them to aim high. We loved working directly with the school to create this beautiful design!
Achievement and excellence
The school chose a busy communal space and a corridor with coat hooks for their Values Wall Art. We replicated the design to suit both spaces, so it caters for all pupils and the way they use these areas.
In the communal space, the Wall Art forms a backdrop in front of a large table and chairs. So it’s sure to serve as a natural conversation starter for discussions and debates that take place here. The corridor is a busy area and students use the coat hooks every day. Seeing the Values Wall Art every day means they’ll become familiar with the message and understand the meaning and importance of each value.
The design has an air of excellence – reflected in the choice of images and the design style. All the images seem to be rising up towards the sky – signifying the theme of aspiration and aiming high. Students can reflect this theme in their everyday studies and school activities, demonstrating each value in all they do.
Values Wall Art
We thoroughly enjoyed working with Safa British School to create their Values Wall Art. Initially, our UAE based consultant, Marie, visited the school to discuss their goals and understand the brief. Then, she worked with our in-house design team to turn the brief into artwork.
The school could feed back on the designs and make any amends to ensure they were 100% happy. Once they approved the final artwork, we printed and installed the Wall Art, ready for a big reveal to students returning to school. We’re delighted with the end result and the feedback we received from the school about their new feature walls. Values are such an important base for students to turn to. So we were delighted to bring these to life on the school’s walls in a richly visual format that will appeal to pupils of all ages.
