The Summer Reading Challenge is now in full swing, and children across the UK are getting involved! Children are encouraged to read as many books as possible throughout the Summer Holidays. They can register online or via their local library to take part. The more books each child reads, the more rewards they’ll receive.
But there’s another prize up for grabs as part of the Summer Reading Challenge. One lucky school will also win a bespoke literacy Wall Art project!
We’re delighted to announce that Warrington has been selected at random as the participating library authority. This means they will pick a school in the Warrington area to win this fabulous prize!
It’s up to Warrington library authority to decide how to pick their winning school. But there is one key requirement – the school must participate in The Summer Reading Challenge. You can register here.

Once Warrington library authority has selected their winning school, we’ll work with the school directly to fulfil their prize.
To begin, we’ll visit the school to discuss their goals and share ideas and tips on how to choose the perfect location for their Wall Art. Next, we’ll guide the school through our design process. Finally, we’ll print and install the literacy Wall Art project.
Last year, Blackpool library authority was chosen by The Reading Agency. Blackpool library authority selected St John’s CE Primary School in Blackpool as the lucky winner of literacy Wall Art!
