We designed a nature wall for Doncaster Mind local hub.
Doncaster Mind is an independent local charity. They provide mental health services in Doncaster and surrounding areas.
The local hub reflects the values of Mind Charity, as they believe nobody should face a mental health difficulty alone. For this reason, they offer support and help to people of all ages who are facing mental health challenges.
Promote Your School donated a Wall Art project to Doncaster Mind. This is part of a ‘charity give-back’ campaign where we offered all Local Minds Hubs in the UK the opportunity to apply for a free Wall Art project. Doncaster Mind was one of the lucky recipients. They opted for a calming nature wall to provide an inspiring backdrop for people who visit the hub.

Doncaster Mind – services
The local hub offers a range of services to the people of Doncaster. Their services are aimed at people of all ages, including children and young people.

People visit the hub to engage in their services. So it’s important that the visual environment is positive and uplifting for all who use it.
Wall Art donation
At Promote Your School, we design bespoke Wall Art for educational institutions around the world. This includes schools, nurseries, colleges, universities, libraries and pretty much anywhere else young people learn.
Our extensive experience in education has taught us about the importance of mental health in achieving positive outcomes. We support a number of organisations who are committed to improving learning outcomes. For example; BookTrust, BBC, NSPCC and The Reading Agency.
We approached Mind Charity to discuss how we could support their work. They asked if we would donate a free Wall Art project which they could offer to all Local Mind hubs across the country.
Doncaster Mind was selected as a worthy recipient of a Wall Art project. We visited the hub and discussed their goals and how Wall Art could support the people who use their services.
Mind Charity are big advocates of spending time in nature to improve mental health. So, we agreed that a nature inspired design would be ideal. Our design team set to work, creating a beautiful nature wall for the main corridor in the building.

We’ve designed many nature walls for our education clients around the world. So our design team is adept at bringing the benefits of the outdoors, in.
Having supported Putney High School on their Biophilic Classroom study, we also know that it’s vital to consider nature when designing any room or building.
We created a calming design, with greenery, butterflies and sunshine. Mind’s mission statement reminds visitors to the hub that they will not have to face mental health difficulties alone.
