We designed a welcome wall for Repton School Dubai
Repton School Dubai provides an outstanding education for students aged 3-18 years. Students from over 80 different nations join together to learn, grow and excel. The school offers diverse pathways including IGCSEs, A-Levels, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes.
We designed a welcome wall for Repton School. Positioned at the point of arrival, the wall creates an immediate sense of identity and pride. It also welcomes students, staff and visitors into the community from the moment they enter the building.
Recognisable backdrop
The backdrop of the welcome wall is simple but effective. We featured the school’s iconic buildings as a backdrop. So the design feels familiar to students and creates a strong first impression to visitors.
Repton School Dubai’s logo features at the top of the design. And a prominent message welcomes everyone to the school. This design shows that simplicity can still create wow factor. A simply branded design in the school’s colours looks classy and professional.
Working with Repton School
From the moment students enter the school, the welcome wall celebrates the identity and pride of the Repton community. Initially, we visited the school to get a feel for the buildings and to discuss the school’s goals for the project.
It was clear that the Repton team wanted to celebrate their school’s culture and heritage. And capture the spirit that defines this wonderful learning institution. We worked directly with the Repton team to understand their vision and goals. Then, our in-house design team took the brief and transformed it into artwork.
The process
On presenting the initial designs to the team at Repton, we were quick to mention that they could provide as many amends they wished – against the original brief.
Luckily, the designs were aligned with their vision and, once they were 100% happy, they approved the final artwork. We then printed the designs on premium vinyl, ensuring the quality of printing was up to our usual standard.
Finally, we installed the Wall Art designs in the designated spot. Our installation team visited the school prior to installation day to ensure everything was ready and went smoothly on the big day. It was a real pleasure to work with Repton School on their welcome wall.
