Brunel University Gym Stairwell Wall Art

It was a pleasure to design University Gym Wall Art for Brunel University in London.

Their strapline; ‘A University for a changing world’ reflects a modern and relevant approach. This ethos is visible in the attitudes and attainment of students. 

Promote Your School’s Founder and Director, Chris Harris, attended Brunel. So as a company we already have a fondness for this fantastic University!

Identity through imagery

We were delighted to design some University Wall Art for the gym stairwell. And Brunel’s hashtag #IamBrunel inspired us to select images that represent the diverse, positive, hard-working and inspiring culture that thrives here. 

We applied our expertise, coupled with our knowledge of the University’s reputation, to design uplifting artwork for the gym stairwell. Then we used the University’s branding colours and logo to complement the designs. So the overall effect ties in nicely to the University’s image.

Aim higher

Naturally, as we were designing for a gym, the images we chose needed to relate to fitness. But we also wanted to reflect a realistic level of aspiration. So we used photos of healthy, happy and fit folk who best represented an overall picture of health. It was important to inspire students to strive for realistic goals and an holistic approach to mental and physical health when working out. 

The end result presents a striking feature wall that motivates students as they make their way up and down the stairs of the University gym. We designed beautiful University Wall Art with a focus on wellbeing. It was a pleasure to work with the team at Brunel to bring their vision to life!
