We designed a History Timeline for Brentwood School.
Brentwood School is a co-educational, Independent School in Essex. The school’s motto; ‘Virtue. Learning. Manners.’ has stood fast since 1622. Today, the school offers a rich and stimulating learning environment for pupils aged 3-18.
We designed a colourful history Timeline to transform the school’s stairwells. The Timeline tracks the course of history from the earliest beginnings of civilisation to the present day. A visually rich learning resource, the Timeline enables active learning. In fact, pupils can walk alongside the designs and absorb the information in the way that suits them best. We showcased a diverse range of dates, events, facts and faces in the design. It was important to showcase the information in a digestible format. The visual presentation achieves this by using images and large text to make the design as accessible as possible.
