We designed a History Timeline for Wellington College Prep School.
Wellington College Prep School is a co-educational day and boarding school in Berkshire. Founded in 1820, the school has a rich history and offers a broad and balanced curriculum.
We designed a History Timeline to transform the walls of the school’s library. The design includes British History against a wider backdrop of World History. A visually stunning design, the Timeline enables active learning and inspires critical thinking.

The school library offers a welcoming atmosphere to pupils. Well stocked book cases feature stories and authors spanning multiple backgrounds, ethnicities and abilities. So pupils are bound to find books they can relate to and characters they can aspire to be like. This is a key requirement for a gold standard school library.
History Timeline
Now the library also features a beautiful visual Timeline. The layered design tracks each historical period at the bottom. Above, pupils can walk alongside British History, seeing key dates and noteworthy events.
We also included images of famous British faces that all pupils need to recognise. At the top of the design, the Timeline tracks the course of World History. Showing these layers visually gives context to pupils, so they can see the order or eras and how events relate to each other.
