Number Day 2026 takes place on Friday 6th February.

Join thousands of schools on Number Day 2026 as they take part in a fun-filled day of Maths. NSPCC’s Number Day is an annual event and it helps raise vital funds for services like ‘Speak Out Stay Safe’ and Childline.

Promote Your School is a proud partner and will once again support Number Day. To show our support, we’ve donated a fully bespoke Maths Wall Art project to inspire a love of numbers. NSPCC will select one lucky school at random and they’ll win the prize.

Number Day 2026

Mark Friday 6th February 2026 in your diary and sign up now to take part!

Number Day is fun for children of all ages and a great way to celebrate all things Maths related.

It’s very easy to plan your school’s Number Day;

1. Sign up and save the date Friday 6 February 2026. You’ll receive everything you need to make your Number Day a success.
2. You’ll get access to an online information and resources page where you’ll find FREE learning materials. This includes NEW games and activities, plus great fundraising tips to help pupils and teachers raise money.
3. Send a save the date to your parents and carers and let them know you’re taking part in Number Day. You can also access the free resources to help you promote your Number Day event.

Sadly, half a million children suffer abuse or neglect a year in the UK.

That means seven children in a classroom experience abuse before they turn 18;

• On average, a child will contact Childline every 45 seconds.
• £4 could help answer a child’s call for help to Childline.
• £3 could pay for the NSPCC Speak out Stay safe programme to reach one primary school child, teaching them how to recognise abuse and neglect, and empowering them to speak out if they’re worried about anything.
• Last year there were almost 200,000 Childline counselling sessions with children and young people.
• £197 could pay for a trained practitioner for one day, helping children get back on track following abuse

How Promote Your School supports Number Day

Every year we donate a Maths Wall Art project to support Number Day. Our bespoke Wall Art engages pupils in learning and can totally transform an area of a school.

We create all designs bespoke, so we can tailor them to each school’s unique preferences. And, in our work with schools we’re able to see the benefits of visually stimulating learning environments. So we know that our visual Wall Art can make a big impact on pupils, teachers, parents and the wider school community.

We are proud to support NSPCC Number Day each year by donating a bespoke Maths Wall Art prize. Every school that signs up for Number Day is entered into a prize draw. NSPCC will select a winning school at random, and they’ll receive the Maths Wall Art prize.

More about the prize

Once the winning school has been selected, we’ll contact them directly. We’ll then work with the school to identify their goals, choose an area for their Wall Art and bring the designs to life.

The design must be Maths related to tie back to the goals and ethos of Number Day. But, there are loads of creative ways to achieve this!

• Maths Timelines are very popular and show key dates, events and people from throughout history
• Maths feature walls can showcase key curriculum content, either aimed at a particular age group or at all pupils
• Inspirational people and quotes related to Maths will engage pupils and inspire learning
• Mathematical illusion walls are fun and show the quirky side of the subject
• Future careers in Maths give pupils real world example of possible careers, and make these feel attainable

We’ll work with the winning school to offer a fully consultative service, so they get the exact end result they want.

Last year’s winner

Oasis Academy Don Valley were last year’s Maths Wall Art prize winners.

They opted for a nature backdrop in their Wall Art design. We aligned the design to the school’s Maths curriculum and featured key Maths equations, times tables, a number line, shapes and visual prompts for counting. This will help younger pupils as they begin their Maths journey. And it’ll help older pupils absorb and retain key information relating to the curriculum.

We really enjoyed working with the school to bring the project to life. It’s a fun and engaging celebration of Maths!

Number Day takes place on 6th February 2026. But registration is already open!

So, sign up to make sure your school doesn’t miss out on the fun. Some schools allow pupils to ‘dress up for digits’ on Number Day.

Terms and Conditions

Promote Your School will offer one Maths Wall Art project, including design, print and installation to a school setting located in the UK.

• Design will cover a single wall of the school, at a maximum size of 30 square meters
• Specifications of the artwork will be detailed in a bespoke design brief, agreed between Promote Your School and the winning school (as per the standard design process)
• Project MUST be numeracy related, with the goal to encourage schools to take part in NSPCC Number Day
• Winning school will benefit from an initial consultation to discuss their objectives and agree the details of the project.
• Period of the Wall Art delivery is 12 month from the campaign date 
• School must sign up to Number Day via the official website to be entered into the random prize draw
• Prize cannot be transferred and judges decision is final
