Every school that registered for Pyjamarama 2024 automatically entered a prize draw to win a literacy Wall Art project. And Landgate School in Wigan were selected as the lucky winners!
They received a bespoke Wall Art project by Promote Your School. The project included design, print and installation.

“Reading is dreaming with your eyes open”. This beautiful quote bursts from an open book on a magical background of colour and creatures. Dinosaurs, unicorns and fairytale characters bring the picture to life.
The goal? Celebrate the magic of reading and encourage pupils to explore the wonders that lie within the pages of a book.
We worked closely with the team at Landgate School to bring the design to life. It’s a fun, colourful mural that sparks interest and fuels children’s imaginations. Children will be drawn towards the wall as they look closer and seek to discover all the hidden gems within the design. We used a mixed colour palette and even added a sprinkling of fairy dust to create an enchanting look and feel in the design.
It’s the perfect nod to Pyjamarama – a celebration of reading for pleasure and an ode to the magic of stories.
Each year, BookTrust runs their Pyjamarama campaign to promote reading for pleasure. Children across the UK wear their pyjamas and spend the day reading and sharing stories.
It’s a celebration of books – and a great way to remind children that reading is fun! At the same time, children donate money to raise funds so every child in the UK can enjoy a bedtime story.
Schools can register to receive a pack of resources that will help them make the most of the big day. Every school that registers is automatically entered into a random prize draw. BookTrust then selects a school at random and they win a literacy Wall Art prize by Promote Your School.
