Promote Your School is thrilled to actively support the campaign. We’re huge advocates of reading for pleasure. And, in our work with schools, we see first-hand how it impacts children of all backgrounds and abilities.
Reading matters, but reading levels in young people have dropped to their lowest level since 2005. Fewer than 1 in 5 children read daily. And that’s why the Go All In campaign is more important than ever.
“Reading transforms lives, opens doors, fuels imagination and gives every child the chance to succeed, regardless of their background.”
This year, we have donated a fully bespoke, literacy Wall Art project to support the National Year of Reading.
Initially, we worked closely with National Literacy Trust to discuss how the Wall Art prize could be used as an incentive for participation. They decided that, in order to be eligible to win, schools needed to reflect on their reading for pleasure practice in the spring term. They could enter these reflections in the Learning Management System, which is offered to schools, free of charge, as part of the campaign.
Thousands of schools have already used the system. And they continue to add updates about how they’re embedding reading into all they do. National Literacy Trust then selected the winner from all schools who had taken part.
Our Lady and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Lymington has won a bespoke designed and printed literacy Wall Art project!
The prize includes;
Our school community is incredibly excited and proud to receive this very special prize, which strengthens our commitment to placing reading at the heart of our curriculum.
Our curriculum is underpinned by the vision to empower pupils as “Architects of a Better World.” Guided by UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, we believe books are central to empowering our pupils to achieve their full potential; opening new worlds, nurturing imagination and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
Working with the National Literacy Trust and Promote Your School to develop our reading spaces will enrich our growing community of readers and help us continue shaping a culture of reading that extends well beyond the Year of Reading 2026.
Promote Your School’s in-house design team will apply their experience to create bespoke artwork that meets the school’s needs, requirements and preferences. We’ll then share the designs with the school for feedback. And, as is standard with all our projects, the school can make as many amends as they wish (within the original brief). So they only need to approve the designs when they’re 100% happy!
Our installers will visit the school prior to installation day. And this will ensure the area is ready so all goes smoothly. Then, the most exciting moment, Our Lady and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School can unveil their new Literacy Wall Art project to the school community. We will add further exposure by taking photos and videos of the Wall Art and sharing a case study across our digital channels. There is absolutely no cost to the school. And they’ll be able to feed in their own ideas and vision for the project.

We’re delighted to support National Literacy Trust in their Go All In campaign. As a former teacher and education leader, I have seen first-hand how crucial reading is to children’s attainment, health and happiness.
We are big admirers of the work National Literacy Trust does to fuel literacy and encourage reading for pleasure. So, this Wall Art donation is our way of supporting the campaign and doing our bit to make the magic of reading more accessible to schools.
