National Year of Reading – Win Wall Art for your School!

BLOG 19 MAR 2026

Year of reading

We’ve partnered with the National Literacy Trust to support their 2026 Year of Reading; Go All In campaign.

To encourage schools to sign up and use the Go All In Learning Management System (LMS), we’ve donated a bespoke literacy Wall Art prize.

Every school that registers and uses the LMS throughout March and April will be entered into a random prize draw. And, at the end of April, National Literacy Trust will select one school at random, and they will win a bespoke, literacy Wall Art prize!

Then, Promote Your School will design the Wall Art bespoke to the winning school’s requirements and preferences. We’ll also print and install the designs in the winning school.

Year of Reading; Go All In

In 2026, the National Year of Reading is reconnecting reading with the things that already inspire us – from playlists and football matches to films, food and family time. It’s reading that fits how we live, not the other way around.

Schools sit at the very heart of bringing the campaign to life. And The National Literacy Trust has loads of resources and ideas to help you put the focus on reading in your school across 2026. The National Year of Reading 2026 will empower teachers and practitioners with creative ways to make reading part of everyday learning. It’s not another thing to add to the list.

The Schools Participation Award celebrates the creative ways schools are bringing the National Year of Reading 2026 to life. It’s designed to recognise impactful approaches that make reading part of everyday learning in schools. And this can happen through classroom activities, online webinars and partner resources.

Register through the learning Management System to find everything you need. For example; criteria, guidance, templates and quick ways to log your school’s activity throughout the year. This will be complemented by a range of impactful programmes delivered by partners.

You can sign up to the Learning Management System here.

Win a Wall Art project

Want to stand a chance of winning a literacy Wall Art project for your school? Here’s how it works;

What is Literacy Wall Art?

We design literacy Wall Art around children’s needs, interests and identities. So it helps make reading visible and valued.

It can also;

Walls can tell children that they belong here, their interests matter,and that reading is for them. And, when environments reflect children, they respond not because they are told to, but because the environment invites them in.

When reading lives on the walls as well as the bookshelves, it becomes part of everyday life. And that’s where readers for life are made. The literacy Wall Art prize will transform an area of the winning school into a magical space for reading.

It has boosted creativity, it’s inspiring our students and you should hear the conversations that are happening as a result of this beautiful Wall Art!

About Promote Your School

We are an education design agency and we create bespoke Wall Art for schools.

With over 20 years’ experience in education, we understand the unique challenges faced by teachers and leaders in education. We combine our experience with extensive design expertise. So, we’re well placed to advise and guide schools through the process of using Wall Art to achieve their goals and ambitions.

Bespoke design

We design solutions that meet specific objectives and achieve unique goals for each school we work with. In fact, all Wall Art is created completely bespoke by our talented in-house Design Team. Our consultants liaise with each school to create a design brief. Then, the design team tailors the artwork to each school’s specific requirements.

All designs are created individually for each project; not just resized to fit a space. To this point, our design process has been carefully honed over the years. So, it’s seamless and ensures each school gets the exact end result that they want.

Plus, we use only high-quality materials. Wall Art is durable, premium and fit-for-purpose in schools, nurseries, universities and colleges. Our products last many years, and Wall Art is a long-term investment. It’s not something a school will need to replace every 12 months or so.

We offer a free consultation to any schools that express an interest in Wall Art. Contact us to find out more.

We’re absolutely delighted with the transformation of our school library. The Wall Art has turned the space into something truly magical.

Our children often say they feel transported into a different world as soon as they step inside. There’s a real buzz of excitement around the library, and everyone looks forward to their turn each week.

The design team were outstanding, creative, professional, and genuinely collaborative. They listened carefully to our ideas and worked with us every step of the way to bring this vision to life.

The result is a vibrant, inspiring environment that encourages imagination, curiosity, and a love of reading.

Wall Art prize Ts&Cs

I want to say a massive thank you on behalf of the whole school! The children have been so excited and keep finding new things to talk about in the design, and it really makes the hall special. It has already been used as an inspiration for storywriting.
