Before we explore some ways to enjoy a Covid-safe Christmas, we’d like to thank our clients for your support through this very challenging year.
We’d also like to extend a Christmas wish to all the teachers, headteachers, SBMs, marketing managers, education leaders, govenors, school caterers, cleaning staff and everyone else who has worked tirelessly to keep our nation’s children safe and educated.
It’s been a pleasure to work with such wonderful, resilient and inspiring schools this year. And we’re looking forward to meeting many more incredible educators in 2021.
Our talented designers find inspiration in all sorts of ordinary places. And we believe that there’s an abundance of beautiful art right on your doorstep, just waiting to be explored! You just need to know where to look for it…
Here are some examples of Covid-safe Christmas art and activities for you to enjoy.
Is it just us, or have folks gone all out on their Christmas lights this year? We’re certainly enjoying walking around the neighbourhood admiring the array of twinkly lights and illuminated homes on display.
Window Wanderland is an award-winning, COVID-safe project, which provides toolkits for communities around the world to set up their own magical, illuminated art trails.
Wanderlands bring neighbourhoods together, reduce social isolation, and inspire creativity.
Check out their website to find a Window Wanderland in your local area or to learn more about organising your own event!
It is well known that at this time of year the lack of natural sunlight can have an effect on people‘s mental health and well-being. Getting as much daylight as possible can help combat the effects. But with it being dark so early in the winter, and being stuck indoors due to Covid-19, it’s tricky to beat the seasonal blues.
The good news is that you can explore a magical, illuminated wonderland from the comfort of your own home!
Connected by light is a beautiful exhibition in Canary Wharf. And you can view the stunning interactive map and image gallery to explore the exhibition without needing to leave the sofa.
Our favourite exhibits are Curious Fluorious and The Stories under our Feet!

If you can’t go to the panto this year, bring the panto to your home!
OH YES YOU CAN!
There are numerous ways to stream and watch a festive panto at home. And we think that watching a side-splitting panto is the perfect antidote to the dark and dreary news of late.
It’s also a super way to show your support for the arts and theatre communities who have been severely affected by Covid-19.
Our online Ideas Book is bursting with beautiful photographs, motivational quotes and stunning designs. Although it’s aimed at education leaders who are considering Wall Art for their school, anyone can enjoy the inspiring artwork!
Why not browse the designs and get inspired this Christmas? Who knows, it may even give you some ideas about how to transform your home or learning environment in the New Year!
