St Michael’s Catholic School Sustainable Development Goals Stairwell Wall Art
We featured the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals in this bespoke design.
All United Nations members adopted The Sustainable Development Goals 2015 for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The aim of these goals is “peace and prosperity for people and the planet”. And this means tackling climate change, and working to preserve oceans and forests.
We featured the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in this nature themed design for St Michael’s Catholic School. Against a stunning backdrop, the design aims to inspire and motivate pupils. Pupils can learn about each goal and see visual representations of the flora and fauna these goals serve to preserve.
This is a hugely inspiring design that is sure to change mindsets in pupils at the school. We enjoyed bringing the design to life on a busy stairwell. The area sees a lot of footfall each day, so pupils will become very familiar with the design as they make their way between lessons.
Sustainable Development Goals
The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals are weaved into multiple areas of the curriculum. And this single design brings them all together in one visual showcase.
The rich nature based backdrop offers plenty of visual interest for pupils. They’ll naturally be drawn to the design and begin to learn and remember each of the goals. As the goals become embedded in pupils’ minds, they can integrate these into their everyday practices. In this way, they’ll become responsible global citizens and understand practical measures needed to tackle climate change and inequality. It’s a powerful message delivered in an accessible format.
