We designed a Timeline for Newcastle High School for Girls.
Newcastle High School for Girls is a proud member of the Girls Day Schools Trust (GDST). Their motto is ‘Dream making to trail blazing’. And this reflects the school’s unwaivering commitment to developing confident lifelong learners.
Headteacher Amanda Hardie explains;

School Timeline
We designed a Timeline to showcase the school’s rich heritage. The Timeline tracks the school’s history, from its earliest beginnings to the present day offering.
Newcastle High School For Girls has a lot to celebrate. The school consistently achieves outstanding academic results. And the Timeline reinforces how the school continues to build on their reputation for excellence. The school provided some super photos, which we incorporated into the design. This adds personality and makes the design feel truly unique.
Chronology at a glance
Using a Timeline design is a wise choice. Not only does it allow the school to share events visually. They’re also able to show pupils the chronology of events – and mastering chronology remains a key skill within the curriculum.
The Timeline is sure to make a positive first impression on prospective families and visitors to the school. So it caters for the existing audience – pupils, teachers and parents. And serves as a marketing tool too!
Bringing the design to life
We worked closely with the school to bring their design to life. To begin, we visited the school in-person so we could discuss their goals and review their wall space. This helped us put together an accurate quote based on the scope of work required.
Then, we guided the school through the design process. At this stage we asked for any photos and information they wanted to include in their Timeline. Once they were 100% happy with the artwork, they approved the designs for print.
We printed and installed the Wall Art, to totally transform the space!
