Hazelwood School Dining Hall Table Tops

We had loads of fun transforming the School Dining Hall at Hazelwood School in Oxted!

We’re well known for designing Wall Art for Schools. But our bespoke design service can cover any space or surface within a school.

So we were delighted to design some reusable table coverings for this charming School Dining Hall.

Long lasting design

We’ve designed Wall Art for school canteens before. But this was our first foray into table top art for a School Dining Hall. In addition to the design, we needed to consider the durability of the materials we printed on. A table top certainly sees a lot of action and needs to accomodate hot plates, cutlery, elbows and spills as students enjoy their meals with peers.

We kept this in mind for the design too and went for a simple, minimalist theme. The design has a premium feel to complement the surroundings. It was also key to spread out each place setting according to how pupils would be positioned at each table. In addition to looking good, there was a Mathematical element to our design!

Sustainable dining

One of the best aspects of our reusable table coverings is that they are long lasting. Instead of using table cloths that require washing or disposable table coverings that are difficult to recycle, our table top artwork is reusable and wipe clean. This means it’s a more sustainable choice than most table coverings available.
