Dubai Schools Al Barsha Stairwell Feature Walls
We designed Wall Art for Dubai Schools Al Barsha.
Dubai Schools Al Barsha provides a strong international curriculum to students. The school offers a caring and inclusive environment that inspires students to contribute positively towards the future. In an innovative and modern building, students receive an exceptional standard of education.
We were delighted to transform the school’s stairwells with a series of feature walls. Each landing presents a colourful Wall Art design, with inspiring messages for students. Against a vibrant backdrop, images and messages create a positive environment. There are a few carefully selected quotes within the designs that are sure to motivate and uplift students every day.
Dubai Schools Al Barsha
School stairwells see a lot of footfall every day. They usually provide a lot of wall space that’s perfect for Wall Art. In this case, Dubai Schools Al Barsha wanted to utilise their stairwells to inspire, uplift and motivate students.
Their design needed to cover a few key areas;
- Learning and literacy
- Identity, culture and legacy
- Growth and perseverance
- Self belief and aspiration
We branded the designs in the school’s colours for a cohesive and professional look. Each Wall Art piece sits against a bright, colourful background that instantly attracts attention. The school carefully chose the quotes they wanted to include within the designs. And we curated images that would fit the theme and messaging perfectly.
Statement walls
The stairwell walls are painted white, so served as a blank canvas for the Wall Art designs. What’s lovely is that students have something to look up to as they climb the stairs, matching the uplifting messages on the designs.
We included popular landmarks and people for familiarity and identity. And the designs celebrate culture and traditions in a fresh and modern format. There’s lot to learn about within the Wall Art designs. Students can memorise the quotes and familiarise themselves with the people and places they see. So they’ll remember these and can apply the lessons of the quotes into everyday life.
The vision
It was a real pleasure to work with the team at Dubai Schools Al Barsha. Our GCC consultant Marie met with the school to discuss their goals and understand their vision for the project.
She was then able to share the brief with our in-house design team to transform the ideas into designs. The school fed back on the artwork and made small tweaks to ensure they were 100% happy with the final proofs.
Then, we printed and installed the Wall Art on the stairwells, adding impact and wow factor to the space.
Wall Art for schools
The best aspect of this stairwell Wall Art is its durability and longevity. We printed the designs on premium, industrial grade vinyl. So it will continue looking its best for many years to come – with zero upkeep required.
The colourful designs will appeal to pupils of all ages and share important messages to inspire and uplift students. We particularly loved the inclusion of the school’s logo. It looks slick and professional whilst remaining subtle and allowing the larger images to shine through.
We thoroughly enjoyed working on this project with the school and helping to bring their vision to life!
