Barnwell School British Values Wall Art
We celebrated British Values on the walls at Barnwell School.
Barnwell School serves the communities of South Stevenage and the surrounding villages, although many students also travel from further afield to Barnwell for their education. The School is unique in the area as it is situated on two campuses, so it’s structured as a Middle and Upper School.
The school’s ethos is shaped by three core values: Respect, Responsibility, and Aspiration. These values underpin expectations and guide the way everyone learns and grows together. We featured British Values in a bespoke Wall Art design, and transformed an area of the school.
Democracy, rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance sit against a branded backdrop. We included images and information to bring each value to life, so pupils understand them and can see the relevance to their life inside and outside school.

British values are a key component of a broad and balanced education. So this Wall Art design will make an impact on pupils of all ages, as they progress through their education at the school.
British Values
We created this British Values design bespoke to the school’s requirements. It is branded with the school’s colours, logo and values and the design serves multiple purposes.
As a welcome wall, it creates a positive first impression for visitors to the school. British Values show that the school offers a tolerant and inclusive learning environment where all are welcome. And the branded design gives a slick and professional look, to indicate that the school invests in its environment and pupils.
Our process
To begin, we visited the school to discuss their goals and understand the design brief. We then put together a quote based on the scope of work required. When the school were happy to proceed, we guided them through our design process. Finally, we printed and installed the final artwork on the walls.
It was a joy to work with the team at Barnwell School. We loved bringing their vision to life and creating this visually rich design for all to enjoy!
