Widgit is a pioneering software company that creates symbol-based communication tools to support communication and understanding for people of all ages and abilities. Their clear, consistent symbol language is widely used in schools, homes, and public spaces to make information more accessible.

By partnering with Widgit, we now have access to their extensive symbol library. As a result, we can now offer Widgit Symbols to all our Wall Art customers.

Schools can now incorporate Widgit Symbols directly into their Wall Art designs. These symbols are especially valuable for enhancing accessibility, supporting SEN pupils, younger learners, and students with English as an additional language. At the same time, their clarity and versatility make them a great addition to any Wall Art project, regardless of audience or setting.

Or, their goal might be to offer a wholly positive and stimulating learning environment. We can turn any goal into stunning visual designs that help achieve the school’s aims.

Our Wall Art serves as a powerful visual learning tool to support lessons in the classroom. It helps pupils absorb and remember information, without even realising they’re learning! Our nature designs benefit wellbeing and boost morale, raising environmental awareness at the same time. We also design values displays, large world maps, and school library walls.

How it works

If you approach us with an interest in Wall Art, we’ll first arrange a consultation. This takes place in-person at the school. And it allows us to get to know your team, assess the school environment and fully understand your goals.

Once we understand the brief, we’ll put together a quote based on the scope of work required. If you wish to proceed, our design team will create artwork based on the design brief. You can tell us if you wish to include any Widgit Symbols in your designs. Perhaps you’ll know exactly which symbols you want to include. Or, if you’re unsure, we can guide you to decide what will work best in your design.

We’ll then send over the first draft of designs for you to review. We offer unlimited amends according to the original brief. So, you only need to approve your designs when you’re 100% happy with them.

Finally, we’ll print and install your Wall Art. It’s designed to last many years, and you won’t need to update or maintain it, unlike temporary displays.
