On 7th February 2025, thousands of schools and nurseries across the UK will dedicate the day to all things MATHS related. Children can dress up, play games and take part in a range of activities, while raising money for the NSPCC.
Last year, Number Day raised £357,000. This money helps the NSPCC continue their important work, and supports services like Childline and the Speak Out programme.
Every school that takes part in Number Day 2025 will be entered into a random prize draw to win a Maths Wall Art project by Promote Your School. Franche Community Primary School won last year’s Wall Art prize. We designed, printed and installed a beautiful Maths Wall Art mural to transform stairwells and a corridor in the school.
This time, your school could be the lucky winner.

Wall Art can transform your visual learning environment and inspire learning in a big way. Franche Community Primary School won a Maths Wall Art prize as part of last year’s Number Day prize draw.
The school chose their stairwells and corridors as the perfect places for their Maths Wall Art murals. Once they were announced as the winners, we contacted the school to share the happy news and arrange a consultation to kick off the Wall Art process.
We visited the school to discuss their goals for the project and ensure we fully understood the brief. They were keen to align the design to their Maths curriculum, in particular Key Instant Recall Facts. They also wanted to inspire pupils by featuring various jobs that are possible with Maths as the foundation. Finally, stirring quotes and images would inspire pupils to study hard and dream big.
We guided the school through our design process, allowing them to revise the designs until they were 100% happy. Once approved, we printed the designs on premium vinyl – so the Wall Art will last many years in these busy areas of the school.
Finally, our installation team completed the project and brough the designs to life.
Richard Watkins is Assistant Headteacher at Franche Community Primary School. Speaking about the Maths Wall Art designs, he said; “The children and staff absolutely love the Wall Art. It really adds joy and colour to the stairs and corridor, as well as promoting mathematics. We have tried to link the design to our Key Instant Recall Facts for maths, to make it purposeful. The children love being a part of Number Day and raising money for the NSPCC and this prize is a nice, unexpected reward for their efforts.”
