We transformed the dining hall at Oxford International College Brighton.

Oxford International College (OIC) Brighton is an ambitious independent college that’s committed to excellence. It offers outstanding education that inspires students to achieve their goals and stand out as pioneers.

We were delighted to bring an iconic Brighton landmark to the walls of the school’s dining hall. Brighton Pavillion stands front and centre in the design. It is flanked by other landmarks and set against a calm blue sky backdrop. Finally, flying seagulls complete the look. And they remind students of the College’s position on England’s beautiful coastline.

We created this design bespoke for the college. Our regional consultant visited OIC for a free consultation to begin. During this visit, they discussed goals and preferences, and measured up the wall space. This allowed us to curate an accurate quote for the scope of work required. From there, we guided the team through design, print and installation of their bespoke Wall Art.

A world class college deserves a world class Wall Art design. And this beautiful, bespoke artwork certainly delivers on the brief!

It provides a calm backdrop for students as they enjoy their meals together. And it’s a conversation starter, as it prompts students to discuss Brighton’s location, architecture and culture. The Wall Art also creates a sense of pride as students reflect on their studies at a leading education institution.

The Wall Art stretches 360 degrees around the dining hall. It presents some of the beautiful landmarks and natural sites in and around Brighton. Windmills and white cliffs remind students that they are surrounded by gorgeous countryside. in fact, OIC is set among 23 acres of parkland and is just minutes from Brighton’s bustling city and coastline. So this beautiful backdrop builds a sense of calm in the dining hall. The serene blue background has a coastal feel to it, bringing the wellbeing benefits of nature into the building.

Using all available wall space makes the design feel immersive. It gives the sense of being outdoors – students can almost smell the sea air and feel the cool ocean breeze, while enjoying lunch alongside classmates and friends.
