We designed library Wall Art for Ibn Khuldoon National School.

Ibn Khuldoon National School in Bahrain is a non-profit self-supporting institution. All staff are dedicated to providing students with a high quality, internationally recognised education.

We were delighted to work with the team and transformed their school library into a magical space for reading.

The available space at Ibn Khuldoon National School was a designer’s dream! Our team really enjoyed working with the huge expanse of walls to transform the library.

We designed bespoke library Wall Art to bring the pages of books to life. And we’re confident the dazzling visual environment will spark curiosity and encourage pupils to embrace the life-changing magic of reading.

Reading is magic

Our goal when designing library Wall Art is to showcase the immersive world that books can offer. Within the pages of a book, pupils can escape reality and delve into a world where anything is possible!

We know that children who read for pleasure are happier, healthier and perform better at school (source: BookTrust). So your library could be the key that unlocks huge potential for your pupils to achieve their goals.

Arabic explorers

A really nifty feature of this project was the use of all available space within the library. In particular, we enjoyed designing this horizontal ticker tape style showcase of famous Arabic explorers.

The design brings some interest to the large vertical windows in the library. And it’s the perfect space to showcase fearless Arabic explorers who travelled the world and made an unforgettable mark on history.

Wall Art for Schools

This project shows the beauty of combining multiple Wall Art types within a single space;

• At Ground level, we showcase the wonders of space to complement the bookcases and reading areas
• As you move up the stairwell, you can see a stunning timeline featuring key events in history
• Upstairs, the walls are brought to life with a large world map and facts about the natural world
• Finally, we created a cosy reading nook with an immersive underwater scene

The end result is a magical space where pupils can lose themselves in a visually rich reading environment.
