Bradfield College 175 Year History Timeline

Bradfield College is a coeducational school steeped in history.
175 years – that’s how long Bradfield College has served the community of Berkshire. The college welcomes pupils aged 13 to 18 years of age, from the UK and overseas.
“One Bradfield. Many Bradfieldians”. This motto echoes across the school’s website and is a reminder of all who have attended in the past, and those who attend the college today. With all this in mind, Bradfield College approached Promote Your School to create a design concept to celebrate their incredible 175 year history.
We designed a bespoke timeline to track the college’s evolution through the years. Key dates and rich images sit against a branded backdrop to celebrate the school’s proud history.

Bradfield College
The team at Bradfield College had lots of fun digging out old photos from years past. They involved members of staff and the wider community to track down all the information they needed for their timeline.
We then collated all this information and presented it in chronological order. Photos were printed in picture frame designs for an authentic look. These photos refer to the large dates showcased below the timeline. So the pictures give context to the information and tell the full story of the school’s evolution.

Out process
When Bradfield College approached us, we were delighted to work with the school. We visited them, in-person, to discuss their goals and understand what they wanted to achieve.
From there, we guided the team through our design process. We offered unlimited revisions to the initial artwork (as per our standard process) to ensure the team were 100% happy when they approved the final designs.
Once approved, we printed the final artwork on premium, durable materials. Our installers visited the college to conduct their pre-installation survey. Then, the most exciting part – installation day. We installed the beautiful 175 year timeline on the corridor walls and added wow factor to the school’s visual environment.

Timeline Wall Art
Timelines are our most requested type of Wall Art. Schools use timelines as a learning resource, to spark curiosity and inspire critical thinking.
They are extremely valuable and can transform corridors, stairwells and outdoor areas. We can feature your school’s history, world history or the evolution of other core subjects. Science and maths timelines are equally as popular as history timelines. It all boils down to your objectives – what do you want to achieve?
Once we’ve discussed your goals, we can show you examples of timelines to help you decide what subject you’d like to focus on.

Love learning
One of the best aspects of timeline Wall Art is that it facilitates active, student-led learning. Pupils can walk alongside the timeline and engage with the content in real-time.
Teachers often tell us they encourage their classes to engage with the designs in their own time. The closer pupils look, the more they see. So students are naturally curious to learn more and discuss the designs with their peers. In this way, timeline help develop vocabulary and engagement in pupils of all ages.
