We designed a History Timeline for Stoneydelph Primary School.
Stoneydelph Primary School offers a wonderful learning environment for pupils in Tamworth, Staffordshire. Dedicated staff inspire and nurture children through the school’s rich curriculum. The school were keen to inspire learning and spark curiosity in pupils of all ages. So, we designed a bright History Timeline for the school’s corridors.
The Timeline tracks the course of history from earliest recorded times to the present day. We highlighted key dates, events, people and places using images and bold text. Each era is separated using clever colouring. So pupils get a sense of context and relativity as to what happened and when.
The bright colour palette instantly draws pupils towards the design! They can then walk alongside the Timeline learning at their own pace. In this way, the Timeline enables active, student-led learning and appeals to all types of learners and abilities.
