We designed Wall Art for Fern Street Family Centre.
Fern Street Family Centre offers children’s activities, family learning, advice, support and community action. They support the community of Bow in London.
Through their work, they help families live life to the full. Their message of hope echoes throughout the community.
We designed Wall Art to showcase their rich history and celebrate the wonderful work they do. The vibrant mural creates a positve and inclusive backdrop for the centre. It shows, at a glance, what makes this centre so special. And it reinforces their important role in the community.
Fern Street Family Centre
There’s a feeling of joy and optimism at Fern Street Family Centre. Their motto is “Life in all its fullness”. And we reflected this in the designs, which have pride of place on the walls around the centre.
We used the centre’s colour palette and branding for a professional look. And, directional arrows guide visitors through the design so it works as a timeline. From the centre’s inception to their work in the present day, there’s plenty to celebrate here!
We also celebrated Clara Grant, known as ‘The Farthing Woman of Bow’. She set up the Fern Street Settlement in 1907 to feed and clothe poor and hungry children in Bow. The rest, as they say, is history…
Bespoke Wall Art
We created this design bespoke to the centre’s requirements. Initially, we visited the centre to discuss their goals and review the available space.
This gave us a good idea of what they wanted to achieve. And it allowed us to measure the space so we could provide an accurate quote. Once we had the green light, we guided the team through our design process.
We loved working with the team at the centre and bringing their vision to life.
