Core values

Girls at Davison CE High School are encouraged to pursue their interests and achieve their dreams. The school’s values of endurance, trust, thankfulness, hope, forgiveness and friendship echo in all they do.

This design celebrates the success of inspirational people in the fields of STEM, Sport, Literature and Media, Philanthropy and the Arts.

Inspiring future heroes

As pupils walk the corridor each day, they’re greeted by the faces of people who achieved great things within their lifetimes.

Girls can also learn about each person, with large images and quotes to add interest and dynamism to the design.

This might prompt pupils to consider careers in new and exciting fields of study. Or it might encourage them to embody the values of their heroes. For example; bravery, kindness and determination.

Diversity is key

We showcased a diverse range of people and interest areas to ensure pupils can see heroes they can relate to.

In fact, diversity is a key component of our Wall Art designs for all schools, because we believe that pupils feel motivated by aspriational heroes who are like them.

This design also aims to build empathy as girls will understand that aspirational people come in all shapes and sizes, and from many backgrounds too.

Beautiful backdrop

We used a mixed colour palette to bring this design to life. As it traverses multiple corridors through the school, we made the most of the wall space and covered every inch with perfectly positioned, delicately designed Wall Art.

And we were delighted to see the final effect after installation! The images stand out beautifully against the background. Text is large and readable, so it’s appealing to pupils of all ages and will draw them in towards the designs to learn more about each aspirational person.
