These education quotes have been featured in Wall Art projects we’ve designed for schools. They’re powerful, inspiring and visually appealing too.
Grab a cuppa, find a comfortable spot and wade through these words of wisdom.
We’ll begin with the wonderful quote above, by Nelson Mandela. “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world”.
Martin Luther King Jr famously said that intelligence plus character is the goal of true education. And we agree; learning is about more than academic potential alone.
In fact, it’s endearing to see the more holistic approach that schools are taking towards developing the whole child.
A great deal of our Wall Art designs are focused on the various aspects of education, from curriculum based themes to school values and wellbeing. So this memorable quote captures the spirit of learning through the eyes of a revolutionary world leader.
We love this inspiring quote from Albert Einstein; “Pure mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas”.
What a beautiful quote that depicts maths as an art form and a celebration of style! Curriculum based Wall Art not only looks great, it’s an effective learning resource too.
“The limits of my language mean the limits of my world”; according to Virginia Woolf.
And what a stirring sentence to inspire interest and appreciation for learning languages!
We designed a colourful mural to serve as a backdrop for this education quote. And of course we included greetings from various languages around the world.
The quote above appears in ‘Pigeon English’, the wonderful novel by Stephen Kelman. Whilst not directly about education, we’ve included this quote because it so brilliantly captures the importance of community. “I am one among many and we all fall together”.
You can also celebrate the spirit of unity by sharing your school values to reinforce what’s expected of everyone. Pupils who feel a sense of purpose and belonging are likely to be happier and have better outcomes.
Galileo was onto something when he said that “You cannot teach a person anything, you can only help them find it within themselves”.
So, with this in mind, it’s useful to consider how you can cultivate a school environment that makes pupils WANT to learn. Think about your visual environment and how you can improve wellbeing, as well as your academic provision.
To finish, we’ll leave you with this final quote; “Reading gives us a place to go when we have to stay where we are”.
In light of the past year, lockdowns and isolation, we’re thrilled that children are back in school where they learn best!
And hopefully these education quotes have inspired and motivated you. For us, they re-enforce the value of learning and the many aspects of a well-rounded education.
