We designed a history timeline for Foster’s Primary School.
Foster’s Primary School encourages pupils to look up at the stars, not down at their feet. Be curious! What a refreshingly unique motto – and a powerful lesson for all of us to aspire to.
We were delighted to design a history timeline for the school’s corridors. The design features a bold colour palette and striking images to engage learners of all ages.
History timelines are one of our most popular Wall Art styles. They are ideal for corridors and stairwells that provide continuous wall space.
But you need not limit your timeline to history. In fact, we can design a timeline that features the evolution of languages, maths, science, technology and even diversity and inclusion.
It all boils down to your objective. If you’re keen to inspire learning in a particular subject area – this is a powerful resource to achieve it.
Foster’s Primary School
The school has a long and proud History dating back to 1727 when William Foster established a foundation for learning. The school’s vision is “to develop happy, resilient and confident children, with high aspirations, who achieve their potential and become successful, independent, life-long learners. We aim to develop a supportive school community which celebrates diversity, creativity and individuality.”
We can see their commitment to achieving this vision through investment in their visual learning environment.
Pupils will be inspired to learn with this vibrant and engaging design. And they’ll arrive at the classroom in the right mindset for learning.
History in motion
One of the best benefits of a history timeline is that it facilitates active learning. Pupils can stand alongside key events in history, understand chronology at a glance and discuss events with their peers.
Our striking designs are a natural conversations starter. And many teachers tell us their Wall Art has a big impact on vocabulary in younger pupils and critical thinking in older groups.
